In a previous forum post, I wrote a little bit about using the quote template instead of putting in all the wikitext and stuff on a page. Here are a few reasons why you should use the quote template, AKA Template:Quote!!
- It looks nicer on a page.
- Less clutter for other editors. It is easier to a template that's filled in than editing the messy wikitext.
- The editing page won't be a long page, so going to the editing screen takes less time to load up.
If you check out Template:Quote, I made a wonderful description on how to use the template (and trust me it is not hard to use). Please check it out if you are going to add a template.
You can make quotes look like this
- "I love Quotes!" —Emilysara
I hate quotes. -- Not Emilysara
USE Template:Quote PLEASE!!! It's a rule in the guidelines and I don't want to ban people because they are not using the template :(((!! If you need any help using it please ask me or just reply to this message!!
