The castle is open for a festival and Zen disguises himself as a guard to enjoy it with Shirayuki and the others. However, an actress is forced to quit a play due to an injury and Shirayuki is chosen to replace her, unaware of the troupe leader's second intentions. Though, Zen got jealous of the fact that the prince who is an actor would kiss Shirayuki's hand, and when he discovered the evil plans of the troupe leader, he flew in, wearing the knight's clothing and 'fought' the 'prince' on the stage. After that, Shirayuki and Zen are at the staircase where they talked and then Shirayuki suddenly asked Zen to take out his hand, he did so. She gently grabbed it and kissed it, making Zen's eyes widen. Shirayuki pulled away and blushed, asking if this was too much for him, he stuttered and wanted to reply but was cut off by beautiful lanterns. Shirayuki runs out onto the balcony and says that it is beautiful. Zen asks if she has never seen them before and she says yes so he says to go outside to take a closer look. They do, however before they did, Zen grabbed her hand and says that they will hold hands until they reach outside. It ended with Zen and Shirayuki and the others, along with everyone else such as the Prince Izana, herbalists, guards and public looking at the lanterns that were flying into the night sky.
