Lata Forzeno (ラタ・フォルゼノ; Rata Foruzeno) is an aristocrat and a mineralogist that has lived in Lilias for around fifteen years.

He has dark hair that's short in length and light eyes.
Personality[]
Lata is a reclusive man who prefers to be left alone with his research. He claims to dislike the formality of interactions with nobility but his utter annoyance with Obi for failing to act properly as a knight gives away that he's a stickler for tradition and ceremony when the occasion calls for it, he'd just prefer to avoid such occasions.
He is passionate in his research and refuses to waste his time on anything that is not related to his research. He lost his temper a lot while dealing with Shirayuki and Obi but soon began to loosen up as he works together with them.
History[]
He went to Lilias wanting to show off his abilities as a mineralogist, but some of the researchers there hated aristocrats, and one after another they began to rebuff him. Shirayuki and Obi seek him out in order to learn more about the Glitter Crystal Stone. He knew that Obi and Shirayuki were looking at him. Hence, he has been avoiding them during his time in Lyrias. He even went as far as sending a note to them containing a simple 'You're annoying' message, including the news that he's leaving Lyrias, in hopes that Obi and Shirayuki would stop seeking out for him. It was later revealed that he left Lyrias due to an invitation he received to attend a night banquet. In the banquet, he was confronted by Shirayuki and Obi once again and he finally gave up trying to run from them. After having discussions with the both of them, Lata ended up being interested in the research of attempting to turn Olin Maris into a glowing stone and agreed on working together with them. He offered to teach only two of the pharmacists which were Shirayuki and Suzu. However, eventually, he grew closer with the pharmacists involved in the research, especially Shirayuki, Obi, Suzu and Ryuu.
