The institute.
The Pharmacy Institute is located on Scholar's Street in Lilias, which is a city in Wirant, the northern administrative district of Clarines.
It is a place used by scholars from around the kingdom, thus, accommodates a vast and enormous collection of knowledge.
There are a lot of researchers residing there of which most of them are described as eccentrics.
Pharmacists[]
Notable people in the institute include Shidan, Suzu, Kazaha, Izuru.
Shirayuki and Ryuu came to the institute as researchers from the Royal Pharmacy for a two-year period. At the end of the two-year period Ryuu accepted a full time position there. Kirito acts as a messenger for the pharmacy and local knights circle in his teenage years but has expressed a desire to learn his trade as a carpenter rather than an academic or knight.
Garak Gazelt is a former student and researcher from the institute before becoming the Head Pharmacist at Wistal Palace's royal pharmacy.
Researches[]
The Olin Maris bioluminescent plant has been under research since its discovery by Shidan. After its toxic seeds caused an outbreak in Lilias, a team from the pharmacy, including Shirayuki and Ryuu, found a cure from the very same seeds.
When Tsuruba Bergatt succeeded his treasonous brother as head of House Bergatt he discovered a number of correspondences between his brother and a lady who had been drugging noble party goers and sending Touka Bergatt information she'd overheard. Tsuruba realizes the parties which attendees cannot properly remember are still ongoing and enlists the aid of the Pharmacy in trying to figure out the substance being used and a way to combat it.
Administration[]
The Institute is overseen by the Arleon family, currently by Makiri Arleon. Inspections and visits were mostly carried out by Haki Arleon before her relocation to Wistal Palace.
