Popo (ポポ; Popo) is Kihal's main messenger bird who is always by Kihal's side. He was in the contest when they were testing out if the birds could send a message in 30 minutes or less from one place to another.
Appearance[]
He is a bird with mostly blue feathers and light green highlights. He has a scar on his right eye most likely due to nearly being hunted. His green feathers on the top of his head resembles a mohawk hairstyle. He also wears a small silver collar.
Plot[]
During a time when the birds of Yuri Island were being hunted by noblemen wanting to use the feathers for profit, Popo helped play an important part in saving the species. During a test, Popo acted as a messenger bird and succeeded in accomplishing the task within a twenty-five minute time frame. Thanks to this, Popo's species became the official messenger birds for Clarines and deemed a protected species by Zen.

According to Kihal, Popo and the other birds of his species are stated to have incredible hearing. They are able to differentiate the sounds of bells and whistles that help them locate specific boats and minerals located under water. Along with great hearing, Popo is able to fly long distances.

Kihal is the owner of Popo. While Popo was trained trained by Kihal, he is still shown to be affectionate and loyal toward her.
